In celebration on Black History Month, our last dinner in February will be hosted by Shawnniecakes! Shawnniecakes is a Black woman-owned business that started at NewBo City Market and is now located at 1800 1st Ave NE (inside the Collins Community Credit Union building). In addition to bakery items, Shawnniecakes offers savory foods, including baked chicken, Philly cheese steak sandwiches, greens, sweet potatoes, mac & cheese, and more!
I am still working with Shawnnie on the menu offerings... may be a buffet style or a pre-order option... so stay tuned for details!
