Welcome to the Grit City Makers Market happening on Sun Feb 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Co-op! Join us for a fun Sunday filled with local artisans showcasing their handmade wares. You can expect to find different creators each week with a variety of goods including unique jewelry, crochet clothes and accessories, handmade sewn goods, soap and body scrubs, ceramics , glass art, one of a kind paintings and more. In addition to a small market shopping experience, you will find a free art activity offered to the public each week as well as a variety of workshops ranging in price and materials offered by different makers.

Workshop A: Rosemary Cleansing Wand
In this thoughtful workshop, Sam will guide you through using simple tools and techniques to make a beautiful Rosemary Cleansing Wand from freshly cut sprigs, charms, crystals, stones and more. Learn about the alchemical uses and symbolic meanings of Rosemary.
Workshop B: Vision/Manifestation Boards
Join this workshop to bring your 2025 vision to life. Use collage materials, including silk flowers, magazines, books and more to create a manifestation board with symbolism and intention.
Workshop C: Clay Magic Dish
Get your hands dirty creating your own magical dish! You will receive a 6x6 slab and gentle instruction to create a candle holder, burn dish, salt cellar, or whatever your heart may desire! Use letters and number stamps to personalize your piece and bring materials along to transfer texture to your clay. Come back on another Sunday to underglaze your piece with Sam.
