The Wakefield Shape Note Singers would like to invite you to the first Wakefield Sacred Harp All Day Sing on October 12th 2024 in Western Quebec on unceded Algonquin Anishinaabeg territory. More details forthcoming concerning accommodations and social.An All Day Sing is a full day of singing Shape Note from the Sacred Harp book. It is a wonderful occasion to experience the tradition and style of singing for new and experienced singers alike as we will be many together to sing from 10am to 4pm with breaks, announcements, a pot luck provided by local and visiting singers as well as a social gathering at the end of the day.

Les Wakefield Shape Note Singers aimeraient vous inviter à la première journée de chant de Wakefield Sacred Harp ce 12 octobre 2024 dans l’ouest du Québec sur les territoires non cédés de la nation Algonquine Anishinaabeg. Plus d’informations seront dévoilées bientôt concernant le logement et le social le samedi soir.
Un All Day Sing est une journée complète de chant Shape Note de notre livre principal appelé The Sacred Harp. C'est une occasion rêvée pour les chanteureuses nouvelles ou exprimenté·es de chanter et d'apprendre ensemble de 10h à 16h, entrecoupé de pauses, d'annonces, d'un potluck fournis par les chanteureuses locales et celleux qui visitent ainsi qu'un événement social après la journée de chant.
