Two different improvisation classes at the same time. 1. Hanah Jon Taylor assisted by a UW jazz studies student, Olivia Flood will teach a Cool School session in the main club for Middle and High school students. This session will focus on creative improvisation.
2. In the back garage room, MJS will host a "Jump into Jazz" session for beginning and intermediate musicians of all ages who would like to learn and refine ways to improvise over standard jazz repertoire. This week led by Dan VanZeeland & Laurie Lang
1-3PM an open jazz jam session starting with a demonstration from each of the classes.
All Ages, All Levels of musicians. Open to all. Free.
