Bring any book, magazine, eBook, comic book, textbook, etc. that you are currently reading for an evening of brief socializing, quiet reading, and comfortable atmosphere. Family Room Coffee & Bake Shop has the perfect menu for hot or cold beverages and quick bites. Check out their website for their full menu. They even offer preorders which is super helpful to us and their staff! Purchase is not required, but I strongly recommend their cinnamon rolls.

RESERVATIONS: Due to venue capacity and demand, the maximum capacity for this event is 30 readers. Once RSVPs reach this limit, the title of the event will change to reflect that no more RSVPs for 'Going' will be accepted. The RSVPs will continue to be monitored until the event so others may have a chance to RSVP if the attendance numbers fluctuate.
Schedule:
6-6:30 p.m. - Arrive, grab a drink and/or snack, get comfy, and mingle with fellow book lovers, share what you’re reading (optional)
6:30-7:30 p.m. - Quiet reading hour
7:30-8 p.m. - Optional socializing, or just keep reading
What exactly is Silent Book Club?
At Silent Book Club, everyone is welcome. Come alone or with a friend. There is no assigned reading. Simply grab your book/text of choice and join us for a brief social period then sit in companionable silence with your current read. After an hour of quiet reading, you can stay and socialize more or head out.
