Edinburgh Kendo Club and Edinburgh University Kendo Club are pleased to invite you to the first edition of the Greyfriars Cup, a Dùn Èideann Taikai! The event will take place on the 25th of January 2025 and will have the following categories:
- Teams of 3
- Junior Individuals Non-bogu
- Junior Individuals Bogu 8-14 years old
- Junior Individuals Bogu 15-18 years old
Places will be limited to 24 for the teams event and around 36 juniors in total. Currently, we are accepting up to 12 for each junior category, however, if there is more interest in one category and less interest in another, we can adjust these numbers.
As there may be some ronin looking for a team on the day, if you wish to register a team with only 2 members, please submit 'N/A' as responses for Team Member 3. If you would like to register interest as ronin, please get in touch with us by sending an email to [email protected]. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a spot, however, if anyone is looking for an extra teammate, we will get in touch with all potential ronin as soon as possible.
