Happy 2025 to all Southwestern Alumni. We are looking for some exciting things to promote this year, and I get the opportunity to start the "ball rolling". Last year we were proud to bring many of you back to campus and have both ladies and gentleman alumni games for basketball (yes volleyball and soccer players, I hear you). This year we are trying something a little bit different. Due to numbers, the girls only have six players this year, and a shortage of time (1 month away) we are combining both basketball teams into a co-ed game.
This is not the only reason however. Saturday, February 1st is our final "Open House" for prospective students for the 2025-26 year, and we would like you to be a part of it. We're not asking you to work or give tours to families. We are hoping with your presence on campus for the game, we can show the next generation of Southwestern students and families that we are just "One Big Family".
I know the date is very close, so I understand those overseas may not be able to attend, but if I can get some IT assistance from those here on campus, we will try to stream the game on Instagram, so you can be here and talk about your memories on and off the court.
