About this Event
The Africa Woman's Empowerment Summit (#AWES2025) is scheduled to take place in Kampala, Uganda, from March 6-8, 2025, with the theme "MY HEALTH MY PRIDE." This in-person event aims to empower women across various field, including mental health, ending gender-based violence, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health financing, entrepreneurship, and technology.
AWES2025 will bring together hundreds of women mental health experts, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, advocates, business leaders, and stakeholders from Africa and beyond. The event aims to facilitate knowledge sharing, interaction, and the development of strategies to address pressing issues and exciting opportunities for women across Africa.
