The 1st Annual Syracuse Glam Slam Ice Jam brings together four bands spanning generations of hard rock, sleaze, and high-voltage attitude — from rising local blood to international, road-hardened glam chaos. This isn’t nostalgia cosplay. This is sweat, hooks, excess, and real stage power — the way rock ’n’ roll is meant to be experienced.
Opening the night are Champagne Blondes, a young, rising force based in Syracuse with roots across the East Coast. Blending alternative rock with hard, classic, and progressive influences — plus a sharp punk edge — they bring fresh blood and modern bite to kick the night into gear.
Next up, straight from the neon-lit underbelly of New York City, TYKIN drag sleaze-soaked hair metal back into the spotlight. With big hooks, massive guitars, and an electric stage presence, TYKIN delivers gritty, adrenaline-fueled rock ’n’ roll steeped in glam, swagger, and street-level danger.
Following them, Ready to Strike bring new-generation sleaze rock powered by pure ’80s DNA. Fast, reckless, and driven by raw attitude, this young band channels the grit and glamour of classic metal while carving out a sound that feels current, sharp, and built for the live room.
Headlining the night are international touring glam wrecking crew The Midnight Devils, delivering high-energy glam-slam boogie rock ’n’ roll straight out of Omaha, NE and Chicago, IL. Featuring Sam Spade on bass and vocals, Sniper on guitar, and the indestructible Jimmy Mess on drums, this lipstick-smeared power trio throws all caution to the wind. With hundreds of shows under their belts and their debut album Something Bigger, The Midnight Devils unleash a no-rules collision of rock ’n’ roll, sexuality, and pure stage-shaking chaos.
