Food Truck Competition & Yard Sale in combination with our 1st Annual Sgt. Shawn A. "S. Daddy" Tasker Memorial Ride. Shawn was a founding member of the Mason Dixon Defenders who passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Defenders LEMC Scholarship Fund.
Prize for the competition will be $300. Food trucks are not expected to hand out samples.
The voting portion of the event is more of a "Fan Favorite" type of competition, so we aren't requiring that the voters try everything, as we are also not requiring our trucks to give out any samples.
Spots for food trucks/food vendors will be $125 (additional cost if electricity is needed. Preference is that your own generator) payable to Antietam Brewery +10% of sales payable to Mason-Dixon Defenders for scholarship fund with Ginger Noble ([email protected]) as the contact. Spots for general vendors & yard sale booths will be $40 (addition cost if electricity is needed) with Stacey from Antietam Brewery (240-452-2504) as the contact. Vendor spots will be 10'x10'. Application Deadline is 5p, Monday, May 9, 2022.
Event will be held rain or shine. Fee is nonrefundable.
Vendors are also welcome to donate an item or gift certificate to Mason-Dixon Defenders, to be drawn in the evening.
