If you think you have the best Chicken and Sausage Gumbo then this is the contest for you!l at The Hangout Sports Pub in youngsville Nov 16th!!! Rules
- $150 entry per team (paid by 11/10/25)
- 4 man teams
- 10x10 or 12x12 tent, pot, burner, and whatever is your special recipe to feed around 50 ppl.
- the pub will provide the rice
Awards
- winner takes all $$$ entered, and 2nd place gets money back.
- team beer/liquor drinking competition with a prize
- people’s choice award trophy
Open to the public
- 11am the event is open to the public so they can judge the best gumbo!! $20 all you can eat bracelet to try as many teams as possible! Bracelets are sold from 11am-2:30pm
Award ceremony is from 3pm-3:30pm
