1ST ANNUAL ADDI’S ADVENTURES CHILI COOK OFF

Join us for the 1ST Annual Addi's Adventures Chili Cook off Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Rusk County Youth Expo Center in Henderson, Tx. Back in November of 2023 Addi passed away along with our neighbors son Jonathan Holland in a automobile accident. Addi was just 10 years old and had just started 5th grade at Henderson Northside, which was to be her favorite place. Addi was adventurous every step of the way and learned to be very independent at an early age with all her cleverness, she would come up with the most proficient ways to achieve the things she wanted most. Growing up early age Addi was diagnosed with Autism and was the light to everyone's room. She showed everyone she was around the new way of living and boy did we live it! The family has created a non profit foundation in honor of their daughter Addison Shepherd with "Addi's Adventures." Addi’s Adventures Inc is an organization that assists special needs children & young adults with the resources, environment, and support necessary to accomplish a life of fulfillment.
