This new mid-winter celebration is produced by the BDA in collaboration with community partners. It brings together local creativity, outdoor fun, and Maine-grown spirit.An attendee can expect to partake in the following:
- The Town Mall Trot: Join your fellow Mainers for a fun run around the Town Mall! Dress up in a costume that represents Maine to you. More details and registration to come.
- Ice Sculpture Demo: Watch SubZero Ice Carvings turn winter itself into art! Onlookers will be able to ask questions as our artist brings the ice to life.
- Whoopie Pie Bakeoff: Get out of the cold in the warming tent where you will be able to sample whoopie pies made from local bakeries and restaurants. Judges will vote on "Best Whoopie Pie in Brunswick" and the community will vote "Best Classice Whoopie Pie" and "Most Unique Whoopie Pie."
- S’mores Station: Huddle around the fire and make a s’more with friends!
- The Lobster Slap Shot Showdown: Think you can pot (fake) lobsters for points using your hockey skills? Participate for a chance to win prizes.
- Family Skate (weather dependent): Bring the family to the Town Mall Ice Rink for family skate! Music will be provided.
