About this Event
Join us in honoring the contributions of Minnesotans with Native American Heritage!
Native American Heritage Month is observed annually in November, and highlights the culture, traditions, and achievements of the nation’s original inhabitants and their descendants. Don’t miss the opportunity to uplift and celebrate the contributions from people of Native American Heritage to our state.
1MN History Makers is a new 2025 initiative from the Governor's Office of Equity Opportunity and Accessibility in partnership with the Public Engagement Department to center and celebrate cultural observances throughout the year. Each month, these gatherings will provide an intergenerational opportunity to deepen knowledge of historical contributions to our state from the featured community, and will include dialogue space for going forward in solidarity across cultural identities, differences and beyond.
