The funk of 40,000 years falls away, and we zombies rise to dance! 🧟♂️🕺Locals of all backgrounds and dancing abilities will again be performing Thriller as part of a global simultaneous event, and we hope you can come and dance, or watch and cheer on the undead.
More than just a spine-tingling flash mob, Thrill the World Portland has long raised awareness and nearly $5,000 for various local nonprofits over the years. This year’s chosen beneficiary is the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO). Attendees and dancers alike are encouraged to make donations at the event to support IRCO’s mission of empowering immigrants, refugees, and the wider community.
Thrill the World dances at 3 p.m. at Irving Park's covered basketball court, close to NE 7th and Fremont in Portland.
