A Way to Have Fun While Helping the Environment!
Enjoy kayaking waters normally closed to boating, while simultaneously aiding in preserving the lagoon habitat by removing trash.
Launch times: Four launches on Saturday and three on Sunday. The two-hour experience includes check-in, personal flotation device (PFD) provisioning, water safety instructions and approximately ninety minutes kayaking the pristine waters of the ecological reserve. Check-in times for Saturday, October 11th are 7:30 am, 9:45 am,12:00 pm and 2:15 pm. Check-in times for Sunday, October 12th are 8:00 am, 10:15 am and 12:30 pm.
Cost: $160 per two-person tandem kayak (excluding eventbrite fees)
Launch site: south shore; accessible through the I-5/La Costa Avenue park-and-ride lot
Children as young as six can ride in a tandem with a parent or guardian
