Slam finalists will have their poems published in the next volume of Tenctacle, a semi-annual poetry zine.
The way the slam works is that participants are given 10 minutes to write a poem on the spot based on a prompt. The prompt might be a word, phrase, or even a picture. One poet from each group of 4-5 then makes it through to compete in the finals. All finalists will be published, with an additional prize for the winner.
