Come out on Labor Day and watch the 1945 Era Parade as we honor the 80th Anniversary of the end of WWII and our Greatest Generation! The parade will include nearly a dozen 1940 era vehicles. It will also include a fighter plane from the Air Zoo and other WWII era military vehicles. Following the parade watch the sky's from the bridges or Ab-Nab-Awen park for the big WWII flyover featuring a B-25, C-47 and six WWII fighters! The parade will start at Calder Plaza, head south to Lyon then to Monroe, then south again to Pearl Street where it will head over the river and to the Ford Museum. A map will be included in a future edit of this post.
