The Museum of Lincolnshire Life's 1940s Weekend! Saturday 5th October & Sunday 6th October 10.00 am to 4.00 pm both days (last entry 3.45 pm).
We cordially invite you to come along to our 1940s Event and experience the wonder of yesteryear!
Things to see and things to do include:
Intriguing Spy themed craft activities for families.
Find out what it was like in the 1940s kitchen looking at recipes and rationing during the period.
Learn about the Women's Land Army, the Home Guard and what it was like to be an evacuee.
There will be displays of original artefacts from WW2 including tank related items and Air Transport Auxiliary Items.
Mr Black will be in the printers.
Find out what it was like to shop in the 1940s with the ladies in the Co-op display.
All visitors are encouraged to attend in their best 1940s attire.
Entry charges:
Adults: £3.00
Concessions: £2.00
Children: £1.50.
Family ticket: £6.50 (Includes 2 adults and up to 3 children).
