An immersive weekend for re-enactors only (no public). Members will experience the life of a new recruit to Kitchener's Army in autumn of 1914.
They will go through recruitment and medical examination, before heading into billets and receiving their kit. Once processed they will commence a daily programme of training exercises as undertaken by the K1/K2 battalions.
Accommodation will be in the authentic huts onsite. Once begun, the event will remain in 1914 for the duration.
