Management accountants today face the ongoing challenge of identifying and responding to their organization's needs. As we navigate the complexities of globalization, automation, and digitalization, practices and innovations must adapt to the unique dynamics of the evolving business landscape. Yet, it’s crucial to remain mindful of the rich, local cultures and business traditions that shape our environments.
Thus, the theme for the 2024 NZMAC is "Management Accounting Innovations in the Asia-Pacific." Continuing a 17-year tradition, the NZMAC serves as a platform for engaging discussions among management accounting academics, doctoral students, and practitioners, fostering meaningful research ideas and valuable networking opportunities.
