Join us in celebrating the 262nd birthday of Mary Randolph with a grand ball! Spend an enchanting evening of revelry under the stars here at Tuckahoe. Learn popular dances from the 18th and 19th century! Watch a real minuet performed by the Colonial Dance Club of Richmond! Marvel at the wizardry of an 18th century Conjuror! Explore the luscious gardens! Enjoy refreshments and party punch! (Adult beverages provided by Ditchley Cider Works will be available for purchase.)All attendees will be treated to a professional portrait in the gardens provided by Kat Jones Creative Photography.
Beginner dance lessons will be given at 7:00, then you can dance the night away to 18th century music. All dances will be called and instructed throughout the event.
We encourage all attendees to wear 18th or 19th century – style clothing or their Sunday best. Prizes will be awarded for the best historic costumes.

VIP tickets are available and include everything above plus early access to the site starting at 5:30, a tour of the 1733 manor house where you will see Mary’s name etched in original window glass and hear stories of young Thomas Jefferson. VIP Ticket holders also get one drink ticket.
