The GLRC 18th Annual Run for Recovery 5k Fun Run, proudly presented by TruNorth Federal Credit Union, registration is now open for this September 10th in Marquette.
Create a team and dress up for fun or run for a personal best. You can even walk the course and challenge for the slowest walker of the event.
This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic community organization to make sure people can access the help they need to start their recovery journey.
All runners and walkers will receive a swag bag with a T-shirt, sports bottle, medal, and items from area businesses.

The Compassionate Care Fund was established in 2012 through a donation made in memory of a former client and helps individuals access care who may not be able to otherwise. This is beneficial for clients who may be uninsured, underinsured, not eligible for governmental or community funding, or otherwise not able to pay for services. Individuals receiving assistance from the Compassionate Care Fund may be from anywhere in the Upper Peninsula. Monies from the Compassionate Care Fund have been used to help clients access assessment services, outpatient counseling, residential treatment, and recovery housing. The funds may also be used to help clients pay for transportation to one of GLRC's residential treatment facilities or recovery housing locations.
