18th Annual Lion Wreathing & City of Kankakee Tree Lighting

Join us in wreathing the lions at the Kankakee Public Library, followed by the lighting of the City’s Christmas Tree at the Train Depot.
Two lucky kids will be chosen to assist Mayor Curtis in wreathing the Library Lions. Then we'll walk to the historic Train Depot together for the official lighting of the City's Christmas Tree.
Meet Santa and his reindeer, hear a New Orleans-style jazz band, enjoy the NEW light show in the park, and enjoy treats inside the Depot.
