The Evansville St. Vincent de Paul Society's 18th Annual Friends of the Poor Walk is a great way to help make a difference in our local community!“Walk a mile in my shoes.”
By participating in the Friends of the Poor Walk, you are doing your part to change lives. Whether you have never had to deal with hardship or you recently received a service from St. Vincent de Paul, you can make a difference!
With your generosity, support and participation, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Evansville will continue to change lives and provide critical services for those in need. 100% of the proceeds from this event stays local to support those in need!
No registration fee required, though donations are always appreciated! We are asking walkers to bring donations of nonperishable food, personal care and hygiene items, household cleaning and laundry supplies, and gently used clothing to help those in our community. These items will help us to create donation packages!
