Family, Friends, and Supporters-We hope this email is finding all of you well as we near Memorial Day in just a few days. Please take a moment to remember and give thanks to all of our veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend this great country.
We want to thank to everyone who was able to attend our 2nd Annual Sportsman’s Raffle in March. We were able to generate over $11,500 for Platoon 22 in Frederick, MD, which provides veteran-focused transitional services to end veteran suicide through the successful reintegration of service members and their families by assembling critical resources, providing peer support, and developing transitional programs. Also, thanks to your registrations, sponsorships, and donations from last year’s golf tournament, we were able to donate $61,000 among seven different veterans’ organizations in 2023, bringing our total grants since starting the fund 18 years ago to over $558,000! (Check out our “About Us” page on the tournament registration website for grant details.)
This year the 18th Annual 1LT Rob Seidel III Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Links at Gettysburg. We will have slots for 34 foursomes in each of two tee times… morning (7:30am) and afternoon (1:30pm). We will try our best to accommodate your preference, however we cannot guarantee you will get your preferred tee time. The morning tee time tends to fill more quickly, so the earlier you complete your team registration and pay in full, the better the chances you have to get your preferred time.
Registration is now open and will be done online at the following website: http://robseidelwsf.2024.dojiggy.com. PayPal, Venmo, and credit cards can be used for payment, as well as by check. Your foursome must be fully paid before your team will be considered fully registered and before a tee time is confirmed. You can pay for the entire foursome at once, or set up a team as a captain and have your team members go to the site to pay themselves. See the FAQ section of the website for more info. The website will also be used to purchase sponsorships, sign up as a volunteer, make donations, and purchase extra tournament T-shirts and other apparel. Be sure to check out our new hoodie and long sleeve T-shirt colors available for pre-order!
Reminder: For names/logos to be included in the printed promotional items included with the packages, sponsorships must be purchased by July 15 to allow for printing and production times.
