Experience the Magic of the 18th & Vine Arts Festival: A Three-Day Celebration of Black Art, Culture, and MusicGet ready for an unforgettable weekend at the 18th & Vine Arts Festival, a three-day celebration that honors the rich cultural heritage of Kansas City's historic 18th and Vine District. From Friday, September 27th to Sunday, September 29th, 2024, immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere filled with music, art, fashion, food, and community. Throughout the weekend, Black artists and food trucks will be available, offering diverse arts, crafts, and culinary delights, making this festival a must-attend event for everyone!
Support for Our Community
This festival is all about supporting our community, and one way we're doing that is by making this event free for the artists participating. None of the talented artists you’ll see this weekend had to pay to be a part of the event. This is a testament to our commitment to uplifting Black artists and ensuring their work is showcased without financial barriers. The festival is funded through ticket sales, which help us create this platform for artists to shine, so your support by purchasing tickets directly contributes to the success of this event.
Promoting Mental Health Awareness Through Art
In addition to celebrating art, culture, and music, the 18th & Vine Arts Festival is deeply committed to promoting mental health awareness. Through our partnerships and programs, including art therapy sessions, we aim to provide services for individuals with mental health needs. We believe that art can be a powerful tool for healing and self-expression, and we are dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in our community.
