In keeping with its mission of historic preservation, the Floral City Heritage Council is sponsoring an event to help raise funds to pay for needed restoration work on the historic 1884 Floral City Methodist Church building on Marvin Street. A Victorian wedding reenactment will take place at the 1884 Church, located at 8478 E Marvin Street in Floral City on Saturday, December 7th at 4:00 pm. The ceremony will be followed by a "reception". The bride and groom as well as select members of the wedding party will be in Victorian attire.
Tickets are $25 per person and provide entry to the ceremony and reception afterward. Tickets can be purchased at the Floral City Heritage Museum on Fridays and Saturdays between 10 and 2 or at the Methodist Church office at 8480 E Marvin Street.
