As the temperatures start to drop, there is a wonderful feeling in the air known as festival season! We start the season off with our 1860s Lifestyles Expo from 10 am- 4 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2025. This event is free and fun for the entire family. There will be dutch oven cooking, crafting demonstrations, live music, activities for kids, and tours of our historic buildings. At 11 am, there will be a 1860s period costume parade. Dust off those pioneer clothes and join the display. At noon, there will be a judging of the Apple Pie Contest. Bring out your made-from-scratch apple pie and possibly take first prize. All pies will be sold by the slice as a fundraiser for the farmstead. College of the Ozarks will once again be hosting a food stand.
