Our 1815 dinner and lunch events, a nod to our founding year. They consistently bring together more than 150 senior leaders, from the largest and most influential businesses across the North East - and are some of the region's highest profile business events.

This event is part of our Senior Leaders event series: supported by our larges business assoc. sponsor, Newcastle College.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

The Rt Hon Bridget Phillipson, Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities and Houghton & Sunderland South.

At this lunch, the Minister will discuss government priorities for the North East. With a specific focus on her ministerial area: the impact of education and skills on regional employers. This is alongside the opportunity for questions from the floor.

Followed by questions from the audience

WHAT'S THE FORMAT?

On arrival there's refreshments and informal networking followed by a two-course lunch featuring words from our President, Deb Walton and our guest speaker. You'll be given your table number on arrival, so you know where you're setting and in most cases, your table will be hosted by a Chamber colleague. They'll ensure everyone is introduced around the table and can facilitate any introductions in the room.

These event are unique. You'll meet cross-sector senior leaders to nurture your network, share experiences, knowledge and learning.

WHO WILL I MEET?

These events are open to the most senior representatives from our Partner, corporate and enterprise members, as well as other key stakeholders and invited guests or Chamber members.

Dress code: We don’t stipulate a dress code at our events, but we’d recommend you dress like you’re going to meet new clients. The most important thing is that you're comfortable.

Behaviour & Conduct: Our events create an inclusive space for individuals and organisations to meet where we expect all our attendees to behave with courtesy and respect, to both each other and Chamber colleagues.
