Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula's Annual Smart Smiles 5K is a Grand Prix run/walk in partnership with The Peninsula Track Club. All proceeds from the event go to funding for BGCVP's Health and Wellness Program, directly impacting local kids.BGCVP knows that smart smiles come from smart choices- smart health choices. Through our Health and Wellness Programming, kids are given the education and tools to thrive and focus on their success. Whether it be partnering with the Mobile Dentists who come to our Clubs to provide dental care; working with local culinary professionals to teach healthy cooking classes; providing kids with the appropriate avenues to receive council; and more- funds from the Smart Smiles 5K go towards creating these opportunities.
