MCS celebration. Open day to celebrate 175 years of Enduring Education. Free Kids Zone, food stalls and historical displays. School tours of the Secondary site and official ceremony 12pm with opening of the 2000 time capsule. The gates open from 9am, with plenty of options to have fun, catch up with old friends and share great memories. There will be student performances, jumping castle and face painting for the children and all activities are at not cost.
There will be market stalls, food stalls and the CWA will provide jam and scones at a delicious treat. Our P&C will host a delicious BBQ and there is the option of joining a school tour of the Secondary site at 10am and 2pm.
We will also have memorabilia for sale for those who’d like to collect new memories of Merriwa Central School and take a some memories home with them.
