The tradition of barn quilts began in 2001 in Ohio when a woman created one to hang on their barn to honor the death of her mother. Everyone loved the idea so much, it took off. Barn Quilts can be any size from 4 inches by 4 inches or 4 ft by 4ft. Our barn Quilts will be 16 inches by 16 inches. We will have the pattern for you and you can decide which colors to use. No experience needed. All materials and the step by step lesson is provided.
