* Please help spread the word and invite everyone! *Back by popular demand, it's a night of filthy knitters and flagrant holiday alcoholism; better known as the Sleigh Ride. Pull out your Christmas sweaters, Santa hats and accessories, dust them off, and get ready to drunkenly belt out the classic Christmas carols.
This year is the 16th annual and it's going to be huge! Sleigh Ride veterans know the drill by now... but for those that are new, I'll go over the rules & itinerary so we're all on the same page.
* * * ITINERARY * * *
BAR #1: OCEAN PARK PUB
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
- Try to get there right at or even before 6:00, it fills up fast and if the bar gets to capacity you'll have to wait in line!
BAR #2: WEST BEACH BAR & GRILL
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
BAR #3: CHARLIE DON'T SURF
9:00 pm - 10:30 pm
BAR #4: THE OCEAN BEACH
10:30 pm - Close (1 or 2 am depending on the crowd)
- If you make it this far, you have officially conquered the Sleigh Ride.
* * * RULES * * *
- You MUST wear a Christmas sweater. If you don't have a sweater just go to Value Village and grab one for like $10, no excuses!
- Accessories like Santa hats and goofy necklaces etc. are HIGHLY encouraged!
- Be respectful to the bars, bar staff, bus drivers, and everyone else that facilitates this event! Dealing with hundreds of drunks isn't easy.
- Try not to start any fights please.
- Please bring lots of CASH to buy drinks with. This will speed up wait times for drinks significantly.
- Spread the Christmas spirit, let loose and have a good time.
Everyone is welcome to come, feel free to invite as many people as you want, as long as they OBEY THE RULES.
