All proceeds will support local families in building strength, stability, and independence through the secure foundation of home ownership within our community. Have fun bidding on Silent Auction and Live Auction Items, buying roses for yourself or someone at the ball, sign a stud that will be framed into out next multi-unit housing on 2nd Street, or participate in our Sq. Ft. Competition knowing all proceeds are going to a great local cause. We'll have you covered for a fun-filled evening with delicious food along with a fantastic array of items to choose from thanks in part to our Sponsors and Supporters.
Raffles, Silent Auction & Live Auction followed by dancing with the Heather King Band until 11:00pm.
Surf and Turf Buffet, served at 6 pm: Smoked tri-tip roast and Dungeness crab, Northwest shrimp cocktail, and fresh chilled mussel display, mixed green salad with assorted dressing, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, wild rice pilaf, greek couscous salad with asparagus tips and sun-dried tomatoes, sautéed seasonal vegetables, fresh fruit array, oven-fresh rolls and butter, and chef's choice dessert array.
Business Casual to Semi-formal. Families and kids are welcome.
Our Habitat volunteers work side-by-side with selected Candidate families, who are required to complete sweat equity work before purchasing their homes. When the home is completed and all requirements met, the family buys the home from Habitat. Habitat draws together people from all walks of life with the common goal of eliminating poverty housing. However, this is only part of the goal. Habitat also builds partnerships and community through our other programs such as a Brush With Kindness. People come together and get to know each other. Friendships are formed, and love is shared in the act of building a home. Homeownership gives families self-esteem and the chance to have stability in their lives. Children grow up in the same house and neighborhood, forming lasting friendships.
