The 16th Annual Multicultural Breakfast will focus on overcoming barriers to economic mobility and spotlight local agencies that offer resources to those in our community that face seemingly insurmountable poverty. Keynote speaker, University of Memphis Professor Dr. Elena Delavaga, Phd, MSW, will announce the results of the 2023 Memphis Poverty Report. She will then facilitate a panel of experts from Habitat for Humanity, Mid-South Food Bank, MIFA and United Way to discuss strategies, challenges, and success stories related to lifting individuals from diverse backgrounds out of poverty and promoting economic advancement.
