Don't Miss Our 16th Annual Local History Roundtable!
This year's theme, Cultivating Connections, will examine local communities faced in the past and their impact on the present. The first panel is titled "Reflections on the AIDS Journey in West Michigan: Public Health and Community Care" and will be discussing the AIDS crisis and its impact on West Michigan. This panel will run from 1:30-3:00pm. The second panel will include current and former students, staff, and faculty from Grand Rapids Public Schools discussing Dr. Leanne Kang's project "Podcasts as Oral Histories: Uncovering GRPS Past and Present" and will run from 3:30pm-5:00pm.
