FEATURING CLAUDIA VILLELA: Celebrating her seventh album “Cartas Ao Vento” and joined by Los Angeles guitarist Mitchell Long. “A Brazilian-born genius with a blistering voice" (JazzTimes), the dynamic Rio-born artist Claudia Villela has developed a reputation as a singularly unique singer, pianist and composer, lending her five-octave voice to work with jazz luminaries including Kenny Werner, Michael Brecker and Toots Thielemans.

Returning to the Festa are award winning DANNY GREEN TRIO including composer/pianist DANNY GREEN, JUSTIN GRINNELL bass, and JULIEN CANTELM drums, and Festa producer and international vocalist ALLISON ADAMS TUCKER who will present a tribute to the cultural collision of Brazilian music with American jazz , including collaborations by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Frank Sinatra, Sergio Mendes and Herb Alpert, Dori Caymmi and Alan/Marilyn Bergman, to modern day jazz artists from both countries.
