About this Event
This is a fast paced 32 hr review, touching upon skills and topics from basic tools used for rigging , OHMS LAW, Refrigeration, Absorption, Chillers and Boilers, Hydronic and Controls. Hands on includes braze shop, boiler room & valves/components, electrical/wire boards/diagrams.
Students need to come prepared with note pad, pen and highlighters. Bring safety glasses and gloves.
Taking this class does NOT register you for the BT test. You must register with the membership office.
REQUIRED Books & Supplies: Building Trade Review HVAC Binder - $60 (if purchased with ticket, you will receive it at the first class)
Fee: $35 (fee waived for Local 290 members)
Credits: 32 Hours towards Local 290s Continuing Education Benefit

Day 1 – Mon 1/6 5-9pm Room 208
Day 2 – Wed 1/8 5-9pm Room 208
Day 3 – Sat 1/11 8am to 4pm electrical lab and room 208. PPE required.
Day 4- Mon 1/13 5-9pm Room 208
Day 5- Wed 1/15 5-9pm Room 208
Day 6 – Sat 1/18 8am to 4pm solder braze in shop. PPE required as well as long sleeve shirts.
**Class Cancelation Policy - If the minimum students is not met the day before the class, you will be notified of the cancelation via the email provided at checkout and any fees/ book purchases will be refunded to the original payment method
