Do you enjoy the outdoors, lead groups in nature, travel, want to be prepared for natural disasters or just be prepared to help? Then join us!This is a 2 Day (16 Hour) Wilderness First Aid/CPR Course, ideally suited for students of all experience and abilities with no previous training required. We emphasize hands-on scenarios and practice so come ready for outside learning and activities! We present skills and techniques according to the practice guidelines established by the Wilderness Medical Society as outlined in the Wilderness Medical Society Practice Guidelines. All our Wilderness Medicine, First Aid and CPR courses follow OSHA and the Wilderness Medical Society standards for CPR, AED, and First Aid Training.
Person(s) completing the course will receive a 16-hour Wilderness First Aid Card (good for two years) and an OSHA Approved CPR card (good for two years). This meets or exceeds the minimum requirement for most CPR/First Aid training needs. It also meets the NICA Coach Licensing Program Level 3 requirements.
This course is hosted at The Broken Oak Ranch in Warner Springs CA, we offer primitive camping for the weekend free!
