About this Event
This year makes our 15th year of getting cold for a great cause. Help Save the Harbor raise money for our Better Beaches Grant Program and register for 2025's Shamrock Splash, our annual polar plunge where we gather on a chilly (sometimes snowy) beach to splash into the clean water of Boston Harbor. There will be a costume competition and free warm food and drinks to enjoy after swimming. Fundraising prizes include a chance to win JetBlue flights to a destination of your choosing!
The Better Beaches Grant Program partners with local organizations and artists across the greater Boston area to plan free events and programs on our region's beaches from Nahant to Nantasket during the warmer months. Last summer there was a free event almost everyday on one of DCR's beaches.
We can't wait for you to join our efforts in raising money to invest back in our communities and beaches!
