Join us on Sunday, August 9th, 2026, for the 15th Annual Paddle for Puppies, hosted by Austin Subaru and Rowing Dock! This incredible community tradition brings dog lovers and paddlers together to raise critical funds for Austin Pets Alive!’s lifesaving Parvo Puppy Program.
Parvo is a highly contagious but entirely treatable virus. Thanks to APA!, hundreds of puppies get a second chance at life every year. 100% of the proceeds from this event go directly toward providing the intensive medical care these vulnerable pups need to survive and thrive.

🎟️ REGISTRATION: Required PER PERSON. Kids, friends, family—each person needs their own registration to be a part of the event. (Registration is non-refundable. If you can't make it, your fee still goes as a direct donation to the puppies!).
Watercraft Options: Single kayaks, double kayaks, canoes, SUPs (stand-up paddleboards), and RUFF SUPs.
Whether you bring your own watercraft or rent one from Rowing Dock, your participation helps give parvo-positive puppies a fighting chance. Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and let’s make the 15th anniversary our biggest year yet!
🚨 IMPORTANT: DOGS & WATER SAFETY
We are so excited to allow dogs at the event, but please be mindful of the possible presence of toxic algae in Austin's waterways.
Swim at Your Own Risk: Please do not allow your pets to swim or drink the water if it is warm or stagnant, or if you see scum, film, or mats of algae.
Waivers Required: Should you decide to bring your pet on the water, you are doing so at your own risk. You will be required to sign an additional waiver stating that you recognize the risks. These will be available at registration when you check-in on-site.

🚙 PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Given limited parking options throughout Zilker Park, we heavily encourage ride-sharing, biking, or public transit via CapMetro.
Best Parking Option: There is a large gravel lot east of Mopac ($7/vehicle) with a easy 5-10 minute walk to Rowing Dock.
Enforced No Parking Zones: The City of Austin has made Stratford Drive a NO PARKING zone. Please park in designated areas only; violators risk being ticketed or towed.
Be a Good Neighbor: Please do not park in the bus/handicap lanes for our neighbors at the Nature and Science Center.
Limited Spaces: There is limited, first-come, first-serve parking under the Mopac bridge.
NOTE: Due to an increase in theft in the area, please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.
