The Celebrity Waiter Event (CW) is the one and only fundraiser for the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center. The event has been held since 2006, working to raise funds to help provide the services the BRCAC offers to the many child abuse victims and their families.The first “celebrity waiters” were the LSU football coaches, and we have since been privileged to have been graced with over 100 local celebrities including LSU and SU coaches who come to compete for tips and bragging rights

?A huge silent auction with over 100 items (including autographed memorabilia, sports packages, jewelry)

Being apart of this annual event means that you are joining our mission to help support trauma-affected children and families in the local area.
EVENT POSTPONED:
Due to growing concerns regarding COVID-19 and the Governor’s reinstatement of the statewide mask mandate, our team has decided to postpone our 15th Annual Celebrity Waiter that was going to take place on Wednesday, August 18th. We plan to host this year’s Celebrity Waiter in person on Thursday, October 14th at L’Auberge Casino Hotel from 7-10 pm instead.
While we are certainly disheartened that we will not be having our annual Celebrity Waiter event in person this month as originally planned, we want to ensure you that the safety and health of our community is a top priority. We hope that you will be able to join us in person at the event on October 14th and as well as continue to support the CAC’s mission. We will continue to monitor all safety regulations and mandates regarding event operations and have a plan in place to accommodate a virtual event that we will notify the public of if necessary.
Thank you all so much for your support and dedication to the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center during this time. With your help, we are able to continue to transform the lives of children in our area, especially at a time when it’s needed most.
