A long long time ago, when only alcohol bars and clubs littered the blocks of Fort Lauderdale, a group of misfits gathered with a strive for a drastic change. There was a deep desire to rid of those sloppy nights of booze and hangovers plaguing the next day; but rather a craving for something more - a safe place to hangout, a community, and a shell of earthy kava to center it all around. And with a burly Rocker, with the wisdom of the root, leading the way nothing would be able to stop them. A location a stone throw away from the beach was declared, driftwood gathered for construction of the bar, and enough Bulas to go around. Fifteen years later and the dream is still standing strong! It’s time to celebrate! A reunion of sorts as we encourage familiar and new faces to gather around for a night of fun! The traditional raffle will be held, along with an assortment of other games and activities - complimentary snacks, and drink deals all night! Have an old Awa Na shirt collecting dust? Wear it for a drink on the house! Prizes and deals to be held by all as we raise a shell to fifteen years and more then fifteen years to come!
