KMG Creations' Dancing in the Park event simply celebrates the love of dance. It is also a special time to raise awareness about disabilities. Dance is for everyone to enjoy! All ages can participate in this event that promotes a healthy lifestyle through dance and other forms of movement. Various Mississippi artists will incorporate various styles of dancing including international dance performances. There will also be a dance contest and a KMG Creations Alumni Line Dance Reunion.
Dancing in the Park was created by KMG Creations owner Kayla Gilmore to memorialize her sister and niece, Alecia & Brandie Tyler-Gilmore. Alecia and Brandie lost their lives in an auto accident in June 2007. KMG Creations has recently included memorializing Kenny Tucker (Kayla's brother), Miles Veasley ( great supporter and friend), and recently added this year Bridish Gilmore ( Kayla's niece).
