Join us in celebrating our 15th anniversary as a dance organization. We're celebrating with a day of workshops, live music, and late night dancing. We're excited to have Robin Chow (Seattle) teach two workshops on Blues and Slow Lindy in the afternoon. The Hot Lovin' Jazz Babies (Portland) will be playing the tunes for the evening dance and we'll have DJed music for the late night dance.Schedule:
2:30 - 3:45 PM: Workshop 1 - Beginner Blues (everybody leads, everybody follows)
4:00 - 5:15 PM: Workshop 2 - Beyond Beginner Slow Lindy/Blues (previous Lindy experience required)
7:00 - 8:00 PM: Beginner Lindy Hop Lesson
8:00 - 10:30 PM: Evening dance with live music
10:30 - 11:00 PM: Break with DJed music
11:00 PM - 1:00 AM: Late night dance with DJed swing and jazzy blues music
Workshop Cost*: $20 for one, $30 for both (registration link coming soon)
Dance Admission: $15-20, sliding scale
*We will never turn anyone away for lack of funds- please join us and pay what you can (even if that is $0)*
Due to the current COVID-19 surge, we encourage attendees to wear masks. There will be masks available at the door.
Open to all ages. Individuals and partners welcome. Volunteer opportunities available.
