Join us at The Britannia Pub on Wilmington Island Saturday May 3rd, 2025 for our Derby Day festivities! The bar opens at 2pm with LIVE coverage of the 151st "Run for the Roses" begins at 230pm. Kentucky Derby @ start time is 6:57pm. The Derby will be on ALL TV's including our 85 inch with sound ON.You can't have a Derby Party with out the official cocktails of the Kentucky Derby, the Mint Julep & Woodford Spire. We will also be hosting a potluck starting at 4pm (ish). If you plan on bringing a covered dish, please comment in the discussion so we can limit duplicates.
Dress: A pantsuit, cocktail dress or business formal attire is recommended. Of course, you'll want to accessorize accordingly. Pearls, a vineyard vines clutch and a stunning Derby hat are a must! Casual is key. However, because we are all islanders, flip flops and beach attire is more than appropriate. Best dressed wins a $50 Britannia Gift Card.
