Peter Kirby grew up in Illinois and met his wife, Carla, at the University of Illinois. He attended Concordia Seminary in St Louis. He has worked as an engineer, Jamaica church-planting missionary, parish pastor in Illinois, and regional director for Europe with Lutheran Hour Ministries. He has served the past 3 years as executive director of congregational services for the Missouri District. Pastor Kirby and his wife live in St. Louis and have two grown children and two grandsons.
