Commencing March 2024
Available to be taken as an online course from April 2024.
Ayurvedic Massage, Nutrition and Vedic Meditation
Begin your heartwarming and exciting journey into the depths of Ayurvedic wisdom with Biyome’s 150-hour certificate in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Medicine, covering Ayurvedic Massage, Nutrition, and Vedic Meditation.
The physical body serves as a manifestation of prana, reflecting our thoughts, emotions, perceptions, breathing patterns, and lifestyle choices such as food, rest, and exercise. Pranic imbalances underlie various health issues, and the doshas represent distinct orientations of how prana moves in the body, mind and breath.
Ayurvedic treatments, encompassing nutritional plans, herbal medicine, massage, bodywork, and meditation, all address our personal bank of prana. Food is a carrier of prana, herbs correct pranic functions. Touch conveys prana in bodywork, and meditation and mantra work on the energy of the mind. The healer’s awakened prana is crucial in directing energy towards healing, creating a profound connection with the patient. Counselling, touch, and the healer’s presence can have transformative effects, showcasing the potency of spiritually energised prana in facilitating healing miracles.
This unique program seamlessly integrates the timeless principles of Ayurveda with the science and art of Vedic Meditation, providing a comprehensive approach to holistic well-being. You will also cover basic nutrition principles, highlighting the best nutrition from the East and the West.

Vedic Meditation
Vedic meditation, popularised as Transcendental Meditation (TM), is a set of 5000-year-old techniques that originated in the ancient Indian texts (Vedas). According to these ancient Vedic texts, the real purpose of meditation is to connect with the deep inner Self, which can be achieved with the help of Vedic techniques that affect different levels of senses and consciousness (Sharma, 2015). Vedic meditation most accurately describes diverse methods that fall under one of the eight branches of Ayurveda, the “science of life”. The latter is a comprehensive system of natural healthcare stemming from Vedic times. Meditation assists in caring for one’s mind and falls under the psychological branch of Ayurveda called Graha Chikitsa, which focuses on psychology and mental health. Today, Vedic Meditation is part of the daily sadhana practice of yogis all over the world (Frawley, 2022).
