15th Anniversary Celebration in collaboration with M.A.I.S.C., Heart & Mind Festival, The Sacred Arts Research Foundation and Acción por la Unidad Mundial.It has been 15 years since the Golden Drum first opened its doors in New York. Born from a community vision that was guided by our elder, Maestro Manuel Rufino, we gathered collectively to create an oasis where indigenous elders and their wisdom can unite together. The Golden Drum has become a place devoted to the honoring and preservation of Amerikua wisdom and all sacred traditions of humanity.
We warmly welcome you to join us for a mini-retreat with a distinguished group of elders representing many continents and traditions. This rare and meaningful gathering offers an opportunity to attend for part of the day or to spend the full day in community—coming together to share, reflect, and receive spiritual nourishment in a truly auspicious setting.

We begin by breaking bread together at 1:00 pm and feasting on a harvest lunch to nourish our spirits and celebrate the Golden Drum’s 15th anniversary*. The rest of the day’s schedule will consist of lectures, ceremonies, music, and a panel discussion, “Envisioning a new humanity”.
